October 19, 2012
Join us for a ONE NIGHT ONLY performance of My Host, The Ghost. Friday, October 19 at 7 PM on the Orting UMC Stage, 109 Train St SE in Orting. It's the 1950's and the world is full of uncertainties. (The Mayans failed to warn us about this period of time.) Elsie and Jeff Keating find themselves at the Southerland Mansion after a minor car accident. The house is occupied by Mrs. Sutherland, her daughter Sally, the mysterious Dr. Oppington, the pompous bulter Compton, at least one body, and ... unseen guests? Poisoned tea, pin cushions, a seance, stolen plans, and ... the walking dead? ... plus more all make for quite a night. Come for this evening of mystery and intrigue. Plus, learn why this particular production has come to be associated with Shakespeare's Macbeth! In addition to My Host, The Ghost the short play A Halloween Carol will be presented. Bailey Bogwater hates Halloween. And she's a witch! However three Halloween spirits come and show Bailey her life: Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Will she change her ways? We shall see. This particular production will be presented in a very unique style.
