Old Goat Farm Garden and Nursery Sept. 2014 Open

Summer is almost gone so it is a good time to start thinking about your garden. What better way to do that than visiting Old Goat Farm and get inspired? We are open this next weekend Saturday, Sept. 6th and Sunday, Sept. 7th from 10 to 5 both days. In spite of all the summer heat the garden is looking great. The nursery is packed with all kinds of late season perennials and a nice assortment of shrubs and small trees including great dwarf conifers. We also just got in a shipment of iron works.

Out in the field the The baby chicks are growing like crazy and we have a small flock of baby Runner Ducks that are very entertaining.

As usual the Chase Garden is also open which makes for a nice day in the country. The weather forecast is good so it should be a great day at the farm.
