Orting Christmas Giving Program

Christmas will be here soon and the Haven has volunteered to coordinate this year's Orting Christmas Giving program. Families that need a little help with gifts for kids are welcome to apply for assistance.

Sponsored families can expect to receive gifts for children 0-18 as well as a Christmas meal. If you would like to apply for assistance please visit the Haven's website for more information at www.ortinghaven.com or call the Haven at 360-872-8252.

Families or businesses that would like to sponsor a child or family can do so in the following ways:
1) Call 360-872-8252 to sign up to sponsor a family (purchase 1-2 gifts per child and provide the Christmas dinner.)

2) Purchase a gift for a child (visit a local Orting business on or after November 25th that has a "giving box" and select a tag. Purchase one of the suggested items on the tag and return it to the giving box unwrapped with the tag attached.)

3) Make a tax deductible cash donation to the Haven Teen Center that will be used to purchase gifts or food for families.

4) Donate a toy to a local toys for toys box

5) Donate any food items or make a cash donation to the United Methodist Church. (They are coordinating with other local churches and organizations to provide Christmas meals for Orting families year.)
