![]() Nadean Marie Carr-Hale ObituaryBy: Rich Carr
June 27, 2015
Consider Nadean Marie Carr-Hale (you probably knew her as "Micky") who entered eternal life on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Her spirit is carried on by her three children, 8 grandchildren, one surviving sibling, and an extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Micky during her 77 years, among them: There is always something to cook or food available for visitors, chocolate & root beer floats could be medicine, Mel Gibson & Tom Selleck should have always come to her Birthday, and always stick up for the underdog. In her lifetime, Micky made contact time after time whether you had spoken last week or last year. She loved company, cooking, puppies, and 'being a part of it'. She's been called "The world's greatest travel partner" and supported her children no matter the circumstances. Those who've taken her lessons to heart will continue to ensure that a there's always something in the refrigerator for anybody they took a shine too...from a field worker to somebody down on their luck, every baby would be kissed, the guest would have a warm bed or article of clothing to take home, and the grand-kids would have their pumpkins picked with her at the pumpkin patch. Above all, Micky loved to be a part of any function. Not at all functions, but a PART of any function. Christmas would bring new friends and guests who'd sing and share her family, she'd have stories to tell, she made you always feel as if whatever she had done she had done it especially for you. Always. You may read this and recall a letter, a memory, a surprise visit with her trunk full of goodies on no special occasion at all that touched your heart, tickled your funny bone, or just made you feel lucky to have her in your life. She is survived by her children and grandchildren whose photos she would share with prospective friends in the checkout line: Cindy (children Deana and Alan), Jake (children Candice and Jason) and Rich (children Darian, Aubrey, Jesse and AnneMarie). Siblings Linda; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and family too numerous to list but not forgotten. Micky is reunited with her mother Dora (Dana) and predeceased by one sibling (Dick). |
