AAU Basketball Showcases Skills

An exciting basketball game last Sunday between AAU Select teams Orting Cardinals and Eatonville Cruisers 8th grade boys.

The Cruiser had the lead at half time; 39-11. The Cardinals picked up 22 points in the second half. The Cruisers won 52-33.

Cardinals' Coach Dave Glissmeyer and Cruisers' Coach Evan Vuksich displayed strong coaching skills throughout the game.

Refs Steve Bruner and Andy Mackay kept the fast pace of the 8th grade players and made fair calls.

Puyallup Recreation Supervisor Brad Helle acted as scorekeeper for the game.
