Obituary Leland (Lee) Moore

Leland (Lee) Eugene Moore went to be with the Lord April 3, 2016 at the age of 86.

He was born in Oaklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 14, 1929 where he resided until the age of 19.

He enlisted in the Air Force in the early 50’s and served four years. He retired the “first time” from the Boeing Co. then moved to Florida with his wife in 2002 when he returned to work for the Government the second time. After three years, retired for the last time.

Lee had a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Theology degree. He faithfully served the Lord many ways and in many capacities.

The Moore family has lived in the Orting area since 1996. Lee enjoyed the Orting trail and could be seen on his wheelchair with his dog. He would occasionally use that time to talk with people and if permitted would talk about the Lord with them. He enjoyed, gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family which he took great pride in.

He was a beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather and is deeply missed by his family.

His favorite verse was 2 Cor. 5:8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord!
