Thank you to Orting Fire Department

I wanted to write in to give a very big thank you to the Orting Fire Department for making a very scary, potentially disastrous situation safe yesterday. I also wanted to warn others that our area has gone from very wet to very dry and dangerous in a short time. We went from horsing around to a nightmare fire scary fast. I am old enough and should know better than to try foolish things on the internet, but the posts on how to get rid of cottonwood are extremely dangerous.
